1. Is your hair naturally curly, wavy, or straight? Long or short?
A little wavy, a little below the shoulders

2. How has your hair changed over your lifetime?
Long and short and curly permed. Sometimes highlighted or lightened. Always with bangs.

3. How do your normally wear your hair?
Down and shaggy looking, no time or talent to fix it. Sometimes in a ponytail but it always seems to fall out.

4. If you could change your hair this minute, what would it look like?
Curly, and be able to stay in a ponytail.

5. Ever had a hair disaster? What happened?
My ex liked short and bald hair as a turn-on. I had my hair short when I was with him. One style was permed on top with a shaved nape of the neck. What was I thinking? (After I left him in 1996, I've never cut my hair short again...although I thought about it after Alan was born.)

Its another rainy Friday. We have plans to go to a picnic tommorrow we've paid for - there is a shelter so its rain or shine. It's an hour from us, I guess we'll go, but I won't be having fun with squirt guns (a bunch of people bring them and play...) Sunday we have a wedding so Alan gets to spend the day at grandma's (not that she minds).

It's odd Mark and I are in our 40's and we have 3(!) wedding of peers this year to go to. Only one is a second marriage. And they are all odd.. The first wedding, they've been married civily since late last year (her second his first), this is a Jewish ceremony and reception. The next one is a first marriage for both, but they didn't invite people to the ceremony only the reception (which is in the same catering place.) The third wedding is also a jewish cermemony as they were married to each other civily previously. And there could be a fourth wedding, and a definite bar mitzvah and of course Alan's first birthday. (At least Alan gets invited to that, and he did go to his "cousin" Jeff's first birthday party in May.)

I heard Gymboree (a kids clothes) store is a having a big blow out sale next week. I guess summer clothes are NOT selling in the northeast. Alan's barely worn his, he wore more in the 4 days we went to florida than since.

Its hard for me with 5 days a week commuting to NYC. I fell asleep on the bus the other morning and in my scramble to get off the bus at the last stop, I lost my bus pass, which wasn't found :(

I sleep in the master bedroom with Alan's crib next to me. DH often sleeps in the second bedroom. Wednesday night he came into the bedroom when I was a sleep. He found me nursing Alan and asked if I needed a bottle (Alan hadn't drunk his bedtime bottle). I said "No, I'm in the crib" according to DH - I guess I was asleep!

I have one small problem with my daycare provider. Stuff doesn't always come home immediately, I send clothes, bottles in the bag one day and sometimes they don't come home till a few days later. I have extras but since I have enough trouble keeping track of things with lack of sleep it annoys me.

I've NAK (nursed at keyboard) and in a pulled over car...not even with Alan in the car seat...but I can't imagine doing that?

This was where my consulting assignment was. But I was on jury duty that day. I never got my stuff back, alas. Now they finally decided to trash it - debris from WTC #2 cut a huge hole in it.
