Another Monday at work.
And another busy weekend.
Saturday we had to take my SIL to a lawyer for a legal matter. We left Alan with my MIL and went. On the way back we stopped at a garage sale and got a bunch of books and tapes at a garge sale. I also got a carter's stuffed version of the stacking rings (alan LOVES his plastic ones). They didn't impress Alan, but for 2.00 its not a big deal (perhaps that's why they were in like new condition). And this was yet another sale with girl clothes...do mom's of boys ever have garage sales...there must be stuff somewhere?
Saturday night we went to a local outdoor production (free) of the musical Forever Plaid. We met a friend there. Alan started to get fussy so I took him to the car to nurse (just wasn't a good place to nurse him). Then we left after the intermission - the music was mellow and Alan didn't mind but we weren't to into it.
Sunday was wedding #2 this month. It was Bretton Woods in Morris Plains NJ. The food was GREAT! And plenty of it!
The Jewish bride has worked for many years at a Catholic school for the mentally disabled. She invited some colleagues including a sister in her habit. The sister danced a few dances - the chicken dance and the hava negila/hora. A few of us took pictures of that - even the photographer. All had a good time at the wedding. And Alan got another day with his grandma.
I'm just annoyed the cats have started using the carpet in the living room as a litter box. I've soaked everything with natures miracle, covered in foil, opened the window, it still smells icky...hopefully it will fade soon and the cats go back to being normal. I hope its just a behavior thing even though they are almost 15 and 13. (Teenage cats...yikes!)
