Inky...anyone want a sweet baby girl cat?
Aug. 23rd, 2003 05:21 pmNo luck with finding Inky a home so far. Every rescue place I've called is full - kitten season. I had 2 offers in Georgia from my cat list, but that is too far. I had another possibility on Long Island, but she hasn't responded yet. (I'd like Inky somewhere I could visit and where I could keep in touch).
I keep trying to convince DH to let her out of the bathroom. But he keeps thinking she'll p*ss all over the carpet. Meanwhile we've got a very temporary litterbox in the hall (a carton lined with plastic) for Moxie and Inky's shedding all over the bathroom which is dark (I can't leave the light on it because it would get even hotter). I do check on her periodically (and I've let her out a little when DH isn't around :)). This so stressful. I'm trying to do the right thing instead of dropping her off at the not no-kill shelter down the road :(
Any animal rescue organization or person that would take her would get my support big time. Trust me, this is a painful decision and even DH knows how sad it is making me.
