Debate

I think Kerry won. Sometimes it looked as if Bush was making faces. And I noticed long pauses on his part a few times. Popular opinion seems to think the same with Kerry. But it was kind of dull overall.

I was surprised to hear about people buying armour for their children in Iraq. I was suprised they'd even let that get shipped there. I know we have a volunteer army, I didn't think you were supposed to buy your own protective supplies!

Next debate will be more interesting with real people asking questions.

I'd also like to see the Edwards-Chenney debate. I suspect Edwards has good verbal skills being a sucessful trial lawyer.

I wish they'd do a real debate - more direct questioning of each other. It would make good "reality" tv :)

Shoes, socks, cheese

Last night I had Alan at Target to get stuff for daycare (cup, blanket etc).

We were looking at snow boots. He said shoes. But he had no interest in them.

I was in toys looking at the cool sets of matchbox cars with nickolodeon themes - they had sponge bob, blues, scooby doo. Alan wasn't interest when I handed him the sponge bob cars, he looked and as usual gave them back to me. (I wanted them!)

Later we passed the ladies Halloween socks and I was looking at the black cat ones (because they remind me of Moxie and Inky). Alan said socks!

And this morning he was over by the fridge looking for American cheese - his favorite - he said cheese!
