Guy Shopping

I've been putting together a care package or two for the husband of an online friend who is stationed in Iraq in an all male unit apparently. I've been told they like snacks, movies and music. So I've been trying to buy "guy" snacks and dvd's - I'm not used to thinking this way. Ended up with a combination of action movies and one's with pretty women in them - and ended up getting stuff like beef jerky for snacks (passed up the flavored coffees). I even wanted to get some antibacterial soaps and had to look hard to find not so flowery ones :(

I wonder if men have this much trouble shoping for women?
