Senator Kennedy Scheduled to Speak at Inauguration

U.S. Senator Edward M. Kennedy is scheduled to deliver
the keynote address at the inauguration of President Berkey
on Friday, May 20. The ceremony begins at 2:30 p.m. on the
Quadrangle (rain location, Harrington Auditorium). WPI will
present Kennedy with the WPI Presidential Medal, which
recognizes individuals who represent the ideal of the
technological humanist that has been at the heart of WPI's

My alma matter is #266, but the schools in this area seemed to rank lower than those on Long Island where I grew up. I wonder why?

Bitten :(

When I get home tonight Mark's on the phone that Alan got bitten twice at school today. Two different incidents - once in the AM and the PM (so different staff were there). I think it is a different child each time. In the morning Alan and another child were trying to enter the playhouse at the same time and he got bitten on the cheek, in the PM he got bit on the finger taking another child's toy. I'm a little concerned about the bite on his face but washed him really well tonight and put neosporin on it - it looks more like a scrape.

There was a problem in the fall with a biter, which ended up in one child being asked to leave as he was triggering the others. I think there are a few new kids now - and Alan is still in the youngest class which I think has from 15 months to 3 years in it - I suspect the wide spread of ages may have something to do with the behavior?

Anyway I'll be talking to his teachers and perhaps giving the director a call. I don't want to pull Alan out yet as long as this stops. And I hope Alan doesn't do anything that would provoke him being attacked.
