Complaints and Complements
Jan. 23rd, 2006 10:04 pmIn yet another complaint letter, we have written to Daewoo regarding their broken DVD/VCR. It appears from searching the reviews on Amazon, others have had the same freezing DVD problem after not much use. And only guaranting a repair for 1 month doesn't build a lot of confidence, does it. (Amazon's reviews also helped me rule out the Phillips DVD/VCR I was looking at this week at Target - apparently there is no fast forward/rewind/eject button for DVD's on the remote - rather silly of them).
I do have a compliment today for Becker School Supplies. I had gone to their nearest physical store to find Alan a pegboard. Having not found one there, I looked at their website only to find red x's in the photo's of pegboards. So I e-mailed them. They nicely sent back a pdf of the catalogue page with pegboards. (although they did write Lisa for my name?). I think they have the exact one Alan likes, so I may order it from them.
We also wrote a letter for my MIL to her cable company on Saturday (Cablevision). She got a call today, and will get a better cable service and price for the next 6 months.
