I am trying to get off my anxiety and depression medicines as the worst of things is over - work is more stable, I can quit and my thyca if not gone has certainly been treated for now.

So last night I took a 1/2 a Xanax XR. Didn't sleep after about 1:50 PM - maybe dozed off ond on. Not good. I'll take the whole one tonight as I have a job interview tommmorw and try again on Friday night. I didn't expect such a reaction after only 2 days of cutting the dose?

I've been on the Zoloft since december 2002 and the xanax since january. I did consult with the doctor on Tuesday and he suggested starting with cutting the xanax. (I'd been like 2 pills away from stopping zoloft, when everything hit in January).

I'll try a 1/2 on Friday night as I can sleep in if I need Saturday Am. If I still do not sleep well, I'll go back to my regular dose and let the doctor know.
