Sesame Street

I was watching Sesame Street this AM with Alan as I dressed him.
Gordon was on - he was explaning they are rerunning a series of episodes this week that dealt with a hurricane on Sesame Street (I guess as a response to what's happened in Florida). It was strange to see a different opening and to see the actor playing Miles (Gordon's son) in short hair and not braids!
I had wondered what they did with the old shows.
I wonder if this is national or just something channel 13 PBS - NYC is doing.

Date: 2004-10-05 08:37 am (UTC)I know they did a post-Sept. 11 one like that too, where something bad happened and Sesame Street was damaged. I can' recall what the something bad was, but it was pretty interesting how they dealt with it. Of course, SS is filmed in NYC, so they were probably affected much more anyway.
