Laundry Blues :(

I washed a mixed bunch of stuff (mostly Alan's) tonight. Something (I don't know what, although I have a suspect) ran blue over a bunch of Alan's things. Any idea of the best way to get the blue out (they are mostly cotton items, but I don't think they can all be bleached - for example one is a yellow bib).

Would soaking in Oxyclean help?

It can't hurt, but if it's been dried, it's unlikely to come out. I bought a box of Clorox Dye Magnet sheets that you throw in the washer with stuff and so far nothing's faded anymore. Jack's brand new comforter faded red all over it before he even got to use it, so I know the disappointment. :(

I had one of the dye catcher sheets in there, I guess the damage would have been worse. I'll soak in Oxyclean tommorrow and rewash (need change for the laundry machine).
