Home early. But will leave to get Alan and go to the dentist soon.

Last night was interesting.

First I went and stopped at the supermarket pharmacy for a prescription (advair is 207.00 without insurance which I have). The to the library where we sorted out the weird CD request problem. (I think they have a bug in the database somewhere - I asked 1 for one CD and another came and it happened again today). I'm glad we have a nice librarian in town :)

Then after I came home we ran errands. To CompUSA to pick up DVD's. Alan and I looked in the petstore while Mark picked up the order. Then we all went to BJs. Then we went for about a 15 minute ride to the video store. It was around 9 PM - and Alan fell asleep on the way. He managed to stay asleep all the way home and we carried him in. He fell back asleep - I did get him undressed and into his bed though. He must have been very tired!

I was thinking about you the other day. I was at Target and saw they had little brio style cars and trucks in the dollar bins. I don't know if they fit the real tracks, but I know how much Alan likes the trains...might be a good way to fill out his stash cheaply, and they'd make good little hannukah gifts!

i'll have to look for those Friday when I go - I didn't see them before, but the dollar bins do change quite often.

I'm jealous of all you corporate types who got out early today. I had to work until 5. Luckily now the kids are in bed but I have so much to do in order to get us ready to leave at 3am.

Sounds like Alan really was sleepy.

Be thankful you are in the BCCLS system. MAIN is going down for two entire weeks so that they can upgrade. It is going to be horrific. Not looking forward to it at all.

Even the library here was closing early at 6:30 instead of 9.

Yikes - I'd be very unhappy if they closed BCCLS for 2 weeks!
