lesliepearJust destressing. DH got on my nerves tonight - got some letter from NJ Department of Taxation about registering his business and he asked me to figure it out - I couldn't - so after getting p*ssed off, I ended up e-mailing them on a form. Hope we can get this thing figured out.
Alan's asking for a Christmas tree. Now, even though I'm Jewish I grew up with one. And since I was married to a Catholic ex, I put up one from the time I left my ex until just before I moved in with DH. DH thinks I should put it up as a Chanuka bush. It's a 20.00 cheap "Charlie Brown" tree from Ames (or was it Zayres then). I used to have to put netting on it to protect the ornaments from my late cats. I'm ok with using it but wonder how I *should* handle the holidays now and in the future. (I do consider myself Jewish but consider most aspects of Christmas non-religous and I celebrate them!)
When I took home the leftovers from Thanksgiving at my cousins they were in a grocery store plastic bag. When I unpacked the stuff, I found a receipt in the bag. Since the reciept was on a debt card, I decided to snail mail it back to my cousin since I don't know if he needed it or not. If it had been cash, I would have tossed it though. Hope he doesn't mind about it.
Tonight, while DH and I were trying to figure out this tax thing, Alan wanted cake. First he asked us, then by the time we'd come into the living room, he'd gotten the cake out, got a piece into a bowl, got a fork and was eating it in front of the TV. He's kind of smart sometimes. He also loves peanut butter and jelly sandwiches these days. I should teach him how to make those!
The memory card for the digital camera from Office Max came today. Kind of silly since the cameras backordered. I hope the camera comes.
