Guess who has an opened, 1/2 used jar with that product # on it - we do. Should I toss it or finish it? Guess I'd better go shopping!

Save the jar for future needs if any lawsuits arise from it--endangerment and all. Also go get your boy checked for salmonella at the doctor's. A quick stool sample will put peace of mind in place. I think it is absolutely necessary, and that is coming from someone who handles food bourne bacteria daily.

Could a child have samonella with no symptons? He had a few days in the past month with bright green poop - but other wise no signs of being sick.

I'm not a doctor so I can't say. But I personally have had food poisoning that was misdiagnosed twice and then ended up in the hospital. I've had salmonella about 4 times and campylobacter twice in my 30 years of kitchen work. I didn't know I was sick once till I started seeing blood in the toilet. Better safe than sorry.
