I stopped at Buy Buy Baby to get bottles last night (too many have melted in the dishwasher - falling down and hitting the heating element). Saw some neat stroller attachments.

They had the vinyl rain covers for strollers. But I don't think I need one of those, they are more for city people who use strollers in any weather (and our stroller has a little rain flap on it.) They also had the mosquito netting covers (thinking this may be a good idea with West Nile Virus) and a stretchy bag that loops over the handlebar of the stroller (I need more space, was considering One Step Ahead's Saddle bags, but this may be easier and will fit an umbrella stroller also).

I also am trying to use up a gift certificate to Amazon. I picked out Harry Potter, a diaper bag and some toys (all with free shipping - but it turns out the toys don't count for getting free shipping with the book...so I need to find something that is 7.01 and free shipping to get rid of shipping all together...any ideas? I can't think of anything...)

Get a board book or two, they are usually not too expensive. Eli really likes "the runaway bunny."

We have runaway bunny. But I'll see if there is another board book that will work. Thanks.

It's $.06 too little. But a great book, anyway, and you could get it along with Hola Jalapeno.

A friend of our's sister wrote this book:

It's a little old for Alan now, but *I* like it!

I read that and thought you said Alan was a little old for it. I saw the book and thought "Sheesh, what's she reading this kid??" I was starting to think Alan was a little savant baby! I re-read it! Whew!

How about "Horns to toes" or "A to Z" by Boynton. Those were bedtime favoites.

and here's the netting:

I'd post the stroller we have (Graco Lite Rider Roscoe, but Graco's site is acting weird.)

i have a mesh bag like that on our "daddy's car" stroller - it holds a lot of stuff, but it's a *pain* to get things out of!

the netting's a great idea. my stroller came with one.

My kids really liked Boyntons "A to Z" and "Horns to toes." I know horns to toes comes in a board book and is fun when they are learnign body parts. A to Z is about emotions, and always good for a laugh!
