lesliepear | Twas the day before the day before vacation....

Last day of work before vacation. I had something to finish up tonight but can't access my PC remotely tonight for some reason. I guess someone else will have to do it or it will wait. It doesn't help when software setups take over a week to get setup due to the complexity of things here (as well as being short handed).

I did indulge myself in a manicure/pedicure today. The only problem is since I splurged the first time I went to the place next door to work, they think I want that EVERYTIME. I don't go that often fortunately, but I really have to convince them to skip the pricey frills (except the threading for hair removal on the face, I like that). They tried to convince me to come for a bikini wax sometime. I don't know, I mostly leave it alone down there, I can manage what does need to be done myself. I don't wear revealing underware or bathing suit bottoms anyway.

We are off to visit people near Raleigh, NC - down Thursday, back Sunday. Hopefully Alan will continue to be good in the car without a DVD. He just likes to sleep, look out the window, listen to music etc. I guess we're lucky - but both DH and I never had them!

Tommorrow includes getting haircuts for myself and Alan, picking up a few last minute things, dropping off winter box storage and then going to a Seder which is an hour each way. Wish it wasn't the night before the trip, but it couldn't be helped - and no we couldn't go and keep going south from there.

I think I am going to crash now. I'm zonked.
