I asked Alan's teacher if there were any peanut allergies in his class.
Her answer was no.
So now I can use up the jar of mixed peanut butter/jelly I have (which is actually pretty tasty).

(No offense to anyone with peanut allergies, it's just an easy lunch to make and something Alan WILL eat)

I know just what you mean. When Tony was in pre-school, his daycare had a ban on ALL peanut products. No peanut butter, no peanut/peanut butter candy or cookies. UGH. It severely limited what I could give him, especially since he's autistic and a very, very picky eater because of it.

I would LOVE to be able to make PB and J sammiches for the girls. They love them and they're easy. But alas - PB is entirely banned from our school.

I am still using sunflower butter, but just because I make sandwiches for my preschooler too. There are no nuts or peanuts allowed in the preschool at all. Thankfully, there are no actual allergies in either class this year.

I understand.... it totally stinks that because of my daughter, the entire class cannot have peanut butter for their lunch bunch day (on Fridays). I absolutely wish it was different! I will send PB&J with Ethan for school, but I make it before she gets up and Lysol my countertops when I'm done. Thankfully she's only contact allergic and not airborne allergic.

Flying was fun :( I had to have the whole plane be peanut free, and they had to take everyone off and vacuum because when we boarded, our seat was chock full of nuts. Literally. I about had a panic attack.
