I've been wanting to not work in NYC for a while.
I applied to a few jobs recently.

One got me a phone call Monday...but I doubt it will go further (supposedly I have to talk to someone with dental problems...not sure when he'd be available.)

I got an e-mail thought about another one which sounded vague and set up an interview for tommorrow - I had taken a 1/2 day off to go to a show tommorrow night, but instead of errands I'll do the interview in the afternoon. I have to get a haircut and find something to wear now - I doubt any of my suits fit (to burlington coat factory across the street at lunch - I'll miss the easy shopping around here, but that's all)

This job would be 20 minutes from home. And if we ever get a house, our current daycare is on the way (more or less) so we could keep Alan there.

Someone with a dental problem? Ever watch the Jamie Kennedy Experiment?

The exact wording was something along the lines of Bill would want to to talk to you but he's in a lot of dental pain now, not sure when he can talk to you...

Don't watch the Jamie Kennedy experiment :(

Ok, then it's probably nothing to be worried about. It's just that on the Jamie Kennedy experiment, one of the recurring pranks they play is having someone come in for an interview and the 'boss' has his mouth wired open with a device that stretches his lips out and it looks rediculous.

Good luck with the job search. HOw long is your commute now?
And your comment on the shopping - I bet you can't beat the shopping in NYC, though...

Commute is probably 1.5 hours average. And to get home in the middle of the day is awful (as I had to rush home today due to Alan's fall).
