3 of the 5 I take are there. I'm surprised xanax isn't.

I looked this up as the pharamacy was out of my eye medicine (restatsis) and got to wondering how pharmacies manage stock so they aren't out of important stuff like insulin and synthroid and not over stocked with oddball medicines that one customer needs.

Well, insulin and levothyroxine demands are pretty easy to predict, I would imagine.

Anyone on them is going to need them regularly, so you can count the number of patients you have on the books at each strength, and add 10% for new patients. Then you split that number over the number of deliveries you get a month.

At least, that's how I assume it's done.

I stopped counting at 10. Yikes, I'm a druggie :)

Aww, I can't see it. My spybot won't load it because it's infected with spyware! If you have adaware, you might want to use it to clean off whatever this site's sending.

Ooh, thanks for the warning! I won't even look at it now -- I am SO sick of adware/spyware.

Erm. It's not "infected" with spyware. What you're seeing from spybot is something that one of the ads is trying to put on your drive (likely nothing more than a cookie), and nearly all pages with ads on them have that problem. The difference is that Avenue A is one of the ones that spybot recognizes, so it lets you know and gives you the option to block it.

Out of my four meds, three are on there (not surprisingly, since all three are basic treatments for various things). I was a bit surprised to see that nabumetone (Relafen) wasn't on there, though. It's likely just about the best arthritis medication on the market, and it's extremely inexpensive. Of course, it also has some nasty side effects, so maybe that's why it's not prescribed much. I imagine with the usual arthritic patient being elderly, some of the side effects are a bit too much for them.
