3 of the 5 I take are there. I'm surprised xanax isn't.

I looked this up as the pharamacy was out of my eye medicine (restatsis) and got to wondering how pharmacies manage stock so they aren't out of important stuff like insulin and synthroid and not over stocked with oddball medicines that one customer needs.

Out of my four meds, three are on there (not surprisingly, since all three are basic treatments for various things). I was a bit surprised to see that nabumetone (Relafen) wasn't on there, though. It's likely just about the best arthritis medication on the market, and it's extremely inexpensive. Of course, it also has some nasty side effects, so maybe that's why it's not prescribed much. I imagine with the usual arthritic patient being elderly, some of the side effects are a bit too much for them.
