How to clean a car seat?

Last night Alan threw up in the car (very unexpected and very rare for him). He's ok - but the car seat still smells. I had taken it inside and tried to clean it with Nature's Miracle - but it appears that I will have to dissamble it and wash it. He has a Graco combo booster (the ones that have a harness to 40 lbs and then go to 80 lbs). Any hints on this would be appreciated.
(I'm glad he basically threw up on him and car seat, he didn't get the car's back seat all.)

Date: 2006-03-31 03:13 pm (UTC)We had a Volkswagen a few years back that we nicknamed the Vomitvagen on account of repeated distasteful expellations. We put an awful lot of perfume in that car in order to sell it.
Both the girls were sick in the car too when they were younger.
Maybe it's my driving!

Hmmm, wonders if the people who bought the old car still get waft of baby spew every now and then, when it's hot?
