Last night Alan threw up in the car (very unexpected and very rare for him). He's ok - but the car seat still smells. I had taken it inside and tried to clean it with Nature's Miracle - but it appears that I will have to dissamble it and wash it. He has a Graco combo booster (the ones that have a harness to 40 lbs and then go to 80 lbs). Any hints on this would be appreciated.

(I'm glad he basically threw up on him and car seat, he didn't get the car's back seat all.)

You can only spot clean a Graco harness, not submerge it, so I'd call Graco and order a new harness, ASAP. Take the cover off, and machine wash it on gentle. They're hang dry, but I put my covers in the dryer on no heat (important because they will shrink) because it speeds up the process. Once you have the cover off, you'll be able to see where all it went into the little nooks and crannies and clean it out.

I hope he's feeling better!
